You will be working on a capstone project of your choosing throughout this course that relates to integrating multiple server and workstation platforms into a single network environment. You will craft a project description, develop a milestone project plan, and describe overall project objectives in this first week. The project should be for no more than 1 year in length.
Assignment Guidelines
Your first task in this process is to select a real or fictitious company to use as the basis for your project. You will also begin to create a document for the capstone project that you will be adding to each week. As you proceed through each week’s Individual Project, you will add content to the final document. Appropriate research should be conducted to support the analysis in your project, and assumptions may be made when necessary.
This week, you will complete the following:
Project Information
Brief description of the selected enterprise or company
Overall project objectives
Business or technical needs that will be met by this project
Capstone Milestone Project Plan (see sample table below)
A plan that contains the major milestones that are needed to complete the project based on research of activities required
Start and completion dates
Assumptions or other relevant milestone information
Requirements Specifications
Based on what you learned during the Discussion Board, identify at least 10 objectives for this project.
Identify the potential users of the system.
